Mary Hale-Haniff and I spent lots of time together in the late 80s as she was doing more training and I was videoing her. We were sitting and having lunch one day and she was telling about her “Course in Miracles” classes. All of a sudden she stood up and shouted, “I AM THE COURSE IN MIRACLES.” That next month she gained 100 lbs. It was as if her Ego had taken over her. After that, we distanced from each other as we seemed to have a disconnect. I took that as a lesson in humility about not letting your EGO get the best of you. After the last video I taped for her, we met only several more time for lunch in the following years. Every time I talked to her she would make sexual jokes and innuendos. The last time I wanted to talk serious about the X y system that I had discovered but couldn’t get her to stop so said “You always do that” which is a giant generalization. She stopped but I saw her whole countenance change against me. She couldn’t hear what I had to share and we never communicated again after that. I tried but she never responded and then I found recently that she had died. I feel bad that I never got a chance to apologize to her for what I said that she took personallly/
In 2005 occasionally I would go to a singles group in Denver CO on Sunday as I was checking out the Mile High Church on Alameda once in a while. Previously several people had suggested the book “Urantia” to me but never looked it up. At this lunch, once more a person brought this up to me so I finally looked up the book. I was working at Budget Dental Lab temporarily at the time so listened to it with MP3 free off the Internet. If you listen to this book, I recommend you don’t start at the beginning, start on Paper 120 to the end and then you can restart at the beginning. Otherwise, the book doesn’t make any sense. What this book did for me was to bring the life of Jesus as a person more realistic. It also gave me a picture of what happens after death that seemed like a realistic possibility. The Bible just says we go to heaven but I could never imagine that. Urantia book written in the 30s, is supposedly a channeled book by many entities through one person who was never disclosed. I took some of the ideas but once again did not make it my belief system – just an idea that works. This book seemed more plausible to me than the Bible version of Jesus life. Since this book is not a religion, I shared it with people I worked with. Several found it quite interesting.
