THE MEDIA NEEDS TO KNOW THIS
Every time the news reports a shooting or replays some drama related to Trump, they magnify the results of that trauma even though they talk against it. They are supporting it by replaying it no matter how much they are against it. They need to understand what they are doing to help expand the drama.
We understand in Emotionology how marketers addict you to their product. It is by showing a vivid colorful picture that depicts some emotion that people can identify with so it becomes connected to their product. It is a way to program you to identify to their product!!!!!
When we want to neutralize an emotion for a person that has experience trauma or disconnect an addiction, we have the person play their traumatic memories in black and white or as a cartoon so it disconnects the emotion from the event.
All news organizations that don’t want to spread this disinformation or trauma need to play these events in black and white to get the message across without the emotion that might trigger them otherwise they are helping trump and helping other people become shooters.
YOU ARE SPREADING THE DISEASE BY PLAYING THE MOVIES OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN COLOR
This is a quick way to desensitize a bad experience
Fear or PHOBIA RELIEF TECHNIQUE
This technique is for specific memories that need desensitizing. It is used mainly to neutralize a phobia or any traumatic experience. It can be used to desensitize any strong feeling. This technique was modified from Richard Bandler’s Phobia Technique in his book Using Your Brain For A Change.
Fear should be a counselor not a jailer. When fear has you immobilized, it stops you from accessing resources and reaching useful outcomes. This technique is used to break the hold irrational fear can have.
- Client has a fear that you have identified and found the youngest memory. Have client go back to just before the negative feeling (event) begins.
- Tell Client: Put yourself in a movie theater with the event on the big screen, watching yourself in the audience and seeing yourself just before the incident on the screen (double disassociation). Change the movie in that first frame from color to black and white. Run the movie fast forward. The faster the better. Run a movie that starts with the black and white slide and continues to just beyond the end of the unpleasant experience. If the client says there is no end to the unpleasant experience, just have them end it somewhere beyond the worst part.
- At the end, have the client jump into the picture (i.e., associate), change the film back to color and run the film backwards to the beginning (very fast). Repeat several times
- Use different variations such as turning it into an old black and white silent movie, putting it in the context of Little Rascals, cartoon or animal characters, a western, etc.
- Replay movie including positive feelings, resources and skills (example: safety) and a new desired feeling. You may ask how that person wants to feel about the incident. The client can start by adding skills and resources to the other person(s) in the movie first. Then have the client change how they are feeling.
- Re-access the original experience and calibrate what is presently experienced. Evaluate change.
